The Permanent Secretary/Surveyor General of Lagos State, Surv. Olutomi Sangowawa has charged staff of the Office to remain conscientious, determined and diligent at work in order to attain the vision of the State Government.

Surv. Sangowawa spoke during the first day at work prayer and thanksgiving session held in the office complex, imploring staff to persevere with difficult clients while emphasising the importance of punctuality at all times.

He commended their efforts in the past year, declaring that the office will continue to encourage hard work amongst its staff by providing a more conducive environment that would encourage dedication and efficient service delivery.

His words: “Our commitment is essential to the State Government’s quest for an improved and sustainable environment, especially on Land information”.

The Permanent Secretary, therefore, urged staff to continually exhibit transparency and integrity as they serve the State, just as he advised them to always observe the laid down protocols on COVID-19 prevention.

The event was attended by Christian and Muslim clergy, who gave thanks to God for protection upon all staff of the Office and prayed for continued guidance, peace of mind, good health and prosperity in the new year.
