SURVEYOR-GENERAL CELEBRATES RECIPIENTS OF LONG SERVICE AWARD

The Permanent Secretary/Surveyor General of Lagos State, Surveyor Olutomi Sangowawa has celebrated diligence, commitment, hard work and loyalty amongst staff to express the government’s gratitude to deserving members of staff, who have served the government for over 30 years.

The gathering, graced by top management of the Office of the Surveyor-General (OSSG), was convened to celebrate two Directors – Mr. Adeniyi Ajayi, Director of Administration and Human Resource; and Mr. Abdulgafar Bakare, Director of Finance and Accounts for their meritorios services to the State Government.

Speaking at the brief ceremony, the Permanent Secretary said, “The Long Service Award is to show the workforce gratitude for their dedication to work. This will make them feel more valued and will in turn continually encourage the entire workforce to be more dedicated in their respective duties.”

Surv. Sangowawa gave an assurance that government will continue to recognise excellence, urging all staff to remain steadfast towards improving the service delivery culture of the Office of the Surveyor-General.

Responding, Mr. Adeniyi Ajayi, expressed his appreciation to the Permanent Secretary and management for rewarding his long-service to Lagos State.

In his remarks, Mr. Abdulgafar Bakare encouraged staff to keep up the good work as professionals towards achieving the objectives of the State Government’s T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda for a Greater Lagos.
